Epic win GET. I just installed Ubuntu linux on my hard drive, and now I dual-boot Windows and Ubuntu. Guess which one I'm posting on. Go on. Go on...

So as it turns out, my Wii has to be repaired. Shit, huh? I just got the damn thing, and all...well it won't let me get on the shop channel, which I really wanted to be able to get on so I could get Virtual Console games (MARIO KART DAMN IT WII) and of course the Opera browser...oh well, at least it's free. The repair is. I feel better knowing it's free. I think it's free. It better be. Chim chim chiree. (don't ask why i'm doing that)

I recently got Elebits for it, too. It's a blast to play, but also a bit hard. And the story is really cheesy, but then again that's kinda why I liked Graffiti Kingdom. Never heard of it? Neither has anyone else. :D The graphics are a bit blocky, and colorful. It's also great fun to just throw shit around. Zap. Tug. SMASH. Oh look an elebit grab it

The Wii has been going over great with my friends, they're addicted to it and want to come over every day to play with it. It's pretty neat, yeah.

Hesitate buying FF6A. The music is all weird sounding and they changed so many classic lines. ("Son of a submariner!" comes to mind...) yes i got a wii. it took long enough, too. i got tp for my gamecubunghole a couple weeks ago not knowing when i'd have a wii, and now i have one. strangely enough it was so easy. wal-marts had them a couple days ago, and i went there around 10 am, had a little jelly, had a little jam, and i walked in and they had 10 of them in a case ready to sell. :D it it amazing too, i just have wii sports so far but that's been my addiction too. i'm gonna take it with me this weekend to a friend's house and rent some games. WARO WEAR

let me tell you about one thing i just love about the wii, so far, and that is the services it provides. the forecast and news channels have both been great, i just loved running around on the globe and seeing what was new in kuala lumpur or how cold is it in kentucky today. i've also been adding quite a few people to my wii (connect24 friggin' rules), if you wanna add me just go ahead, here you go, friend code time: 4282 1260 2848 8480. damn i love my wii. i can't wait till i get opera, then i can just peruse 4chan in bed...where i should be perusing 4chan :D

i don't really have any bitching over the wii so far, but i'm sure i'll find something to dislike soon, don't worry. well, my arms ARE awful sore from bowling, baseball, and boxing. the three deadly b's. don't let them take away your children!

Alright I know it took me for-FREAKING-ever to make this...addendumdumdum to the last post. Well, screw me. I wanted to make the following images into comic-y things...but didn't because my mind isn't that creative anymore. So you'll have to deal with images that have no underlying context. They're still pretty...um...well they're images, all right.

So I hope everyone had a merry christmas. I got a SALT LAMP! And a Wii whenever the hell we can find one :(

Holy friggin' crap. I am so hyper right now. That's what happens when you drink an energy drink and don't do anything but sit on your ass, I guess. Hmm...sit...on my ass? bwahaha, check it out, kiddies. let me give you some backstory about this first. i bought it at a target for about 40-50 bux. it came with the OST for Twilight Princess (which i hear has none of the songs actually used in the game...huh?) and a certificate stating it's all official replicas and stuff...signed with Miyamoto's very unique signature. damn, i wish i had that last name just so i could use that signature. so awesome.

anyways here's a few pics of what i'm talking about...a 1/6th scale replica of the fscking MASTER SWORD AND HYLIAN SHIELD what what what what WHAT yeah okay maybe it's not that big a deal? i thought it wasn't :/

yeah i know. horrible. but yeah, i'm big boss. the replica is actually a bit pointy-sharp, i jabbed myself with it a couple of times on purpose...nearly broke the skin :O yes it is small eh? haha wait till you see this...

no dodongo will be able to breathe fire on my shit with this shield. hell naw. i love the shield more than the sword because it looks and feels more realistic than the sword, which is really just pointy metal attached to a weird plastic...thing. don't expect to be able to defeat me in any jousts with this baby.

Well, I had very little luck in obtaining a Wii yesterday. Just walked into a target when the last one was purchased. Shit, to think I was merely a few minutes off...it angers me. Anyways, I decided it would be best to just wait until next month sometime to get one. I figure by then all the goodies will be rolled out and I won't miss out on much. Yup. Yup yup yup.

To be more elaborate on my Next-Gen console purchasing plans...first, I get a Wii next month, then I get an XBox 360 before November, and sometime in a few years, the PS3...if I ever get over them killing lik-sang (THOSE FREAKING ASSHOLES HOW DARE THEY?!) which may not happen...ever. Screw you, Sony. Screw you and your fscking money holes. Guess what? The PS3...

EAT IT, SONY. (I had no idea this post was going to turn into an anti-Sony rant, sorry those who are offended...or screw off, I freaking loved Lik-Sang, okay?!)

let me tell you about a web site. it's legendary. it's a search engine, but i've never had more fun with a search engine in my LIFE. which isn't saying much, but it's so fucking brilliant. http://www.chacha.com < there, there it is! right there! stick it in the URL bar! go! and use the live assisted search instead of regular search. oh man. those are real people helping you find shit, not bots. unless they're extremely smart bots...one of my favorite ways of messing with them is searching for and talking about menstruation attracting bears and my (fictional) dog being on fire and needing help fast. i'm still laughing over that last one...

not much else to report. i'mma try to get a WIIIIIIIIIIII this sunday, so anyone who lives near me better stay the fuck home or i'll bring my crowbar and show you the business end of it.

yes, relive, recreate, or even make your own scenes from the mario series using special smb characters...in ragdoll form! excitebike!

i don't like this picture very much...crappy quality, and i had the video settings on medium...but otherwise still a fine example of a simple hovering vehicle that can be made using a box, some hoverballs, and that...mechanism...that's holding my character. pretty fun to mess with, but damned hard to control.

and here we have a view from behind, and further away. fun fun fun.

I think it's about time I did another review. This time, I'm featuring a game that's been available since August. However, only in Japan. :( How sad, that this game never made it overseas, especially since I'd like to know what the hell it says in the menus. However, it's highly import friendly, as long as you know the basic premise of it. Game's called Rhythm Tengoku. More info at http://gameboy.ign.com/objects/827/827844.html and they also have pics, videos, etc. it's much better to see the game in action than to read about it but I'm going to go at it anyways.

Gameplay

Alright, this is tricky. Rhythm Tengoku (Rhythm Heaven) is rhythm-based, as the name implies, however unlike DDR, or Beatmania, or any other rhythm game you can think of, it's not about following a pattern of arrows, buttons, sliders, etc. It's very random. If you've played WarioWare before, then imagine that, except with RHYTHM OOO but it's not the same as WarioWare at all, since the minigames are longer than 5 seconds each. A few examples are punching bowls, lightbulbs, and boulders, hopping up celestial stairs, and bouncing along red cylinders through a...bouncy box thing, all to the beat of catchy-as-hell music. It's also very strict about timing, too. If you miss the beat slightly, you'll get a half-score, but if you miss entirely, it's a discredit. For example, in one minigame, you're a ninja protecting your master from arrows being fired by white ninjas from the opposite tower. To protect him, you must slash the arrows by tapping A or the D-Pad at the right time. It's like a Simon-esque game, you have to remember at what part in the tune the arrow was fired to be able to slash it. If you miss slightly, the arrow bounces off your sword, and your master is scared slightly. Miss entirely, the arrow lands right near master's head, he freaks out. Get it yet? This game is a quick play, you should have it beat within a few hours, but damn it's addictive. And even after you've beat it, you're not done. But more on that later. Each level is five games and a remix, there are eight levels in all, so...yeah.

MUSIC

Can't have a rhythm game without good music. (Won't let you pass!) This game has some good music, for sure. I'd say my favorites would be the music for the stair-hopping game and the fifth remix. All the actual levels have unique music, while two remixes have licensed J-Pop tunes, which are pretty good. Some tunes get stuck in my head for days on end, while others I've already forgotten. Heh. That's kinda bad. I just stopped playing the game a second ago. Ah, well. Anyway, if you want to hear the music, there's also a sound test room, and drumkits so you can drum along to the music. Not bad, overall.

GRAPHICS

Since this game came from the same people who made that there WarioWare game, graphics aren't exactly going to be outstanding, GBA-wise. This game is no real exception. The graphics won't wow you, but the simplicity and colorful-ness may have you attached to it. I'd say the graphics are at a later SNES-style level at best, some simple enough a Neo Geo Pocket Color could probably display them. A few games (again stair-hopping comes to mind) have a little charm to them, due in part to their simplicity.

I'm still playing it, and I mastered it weeks ago. Same thing happened to me with Mega Microgame$, so if you liked that, then this will have you by the spinal cord.

TOTAL FUN-NESS - 4.5/5

Alright, so here's what I was talking about earlier. Once you've beaten the game, there's more to it after that. First of all, each game has three scores, one is bad, and makes you try again, one is decent, and lets you continue to the next game, and one is superior, and pretty much shows you pwn at rhythm. You should try being superior with all the minigames. Once you've done that, you can get perfect hearts for each of them. A perfect heart can only be earned on games you've mastered with superiority, and you have three tries with each P-Heart. To earn it, you must complete the minigame without missing a beat at all, half-beats being counted as a miss. Once you get all of those...well I don't know yet, I'm still working on it :{{{ But overall, importing is a must.

welcome to a year of my annoying self being on here for a year. this year. and part of last :O man, i can't believe how time flies. i should probably tell time to stop. but really, i'm surprised how much i like it here. it's neat, and all that. i just don't like myspace. friends and family are the reason i have one, but it's so mundane. the only thing i really like about it is actually being able to put a song on my profile, but that can be a downside for anyone else, and also for me when i go to someone else's profile...bah. xanga ftw.

anyways, let's celebrate with a quick sheet of changes that have occurred since last year.
